NutriKids
Park City School District's Food Service Department is excited to be among one of the first school districts in the State to provide parents a convenient, easy and secure online prepayment service to deposit money into your child's school meal account at any time. This service also provides parents the ability to view your child's account balance through a web site called www.mynutrikids.com. By placing money in each child's account prior to entering the cafeteria, we find the lunch lines move along much faster so your child has more time to eat and be with friends.

General Information
Breakfast and lunch are served as part of the total educational program in the Park City School District. Numerous studies have shown a positive relationship between good eating practices and learning in school.
Currently, all school meals in the Park City School District are being analyzed for nutrient content to ensure the Federal Dietary Guidelines for children are being met. Due to the recent changes in the Dietary Guidelines to increase whole grains, fruit and vegetables, we will be offering more whole grain products to complement the variety of fresh fruits and vegetables already being offered. In addition, we will be offering sunflower seed butter as an alternative to peanut butter, district-wide. Students have a variety of lunch entree options from which to choose.
School breakfast and lunch account information is operated through a computerized program called Nutrikids. At the beginning of the school year, an account will be opened and an account ID number issued to every student. This number should be kept confidential. The school breakfast/lunch program is not liable if another student uses this number.
New this year is an on-line payment system: www.mynutrikds.com. This web site also allows parents to view account balances and transactions that may have occurred. We encourage parents to register your child/children.
Breakfast will be served at all schools this year; elementary breakfast from 7:45-8:15 a.m., Ecker Hill International, 8:20-8:50 a.m., Treasure Mountain International and Park City High School, 7:00-7:20 a.m. The cost of breakfast at the elementary level is $1.10, Ecker Hill $1.30, Treasure Mountain $1.40 and Park City High School $1.50. Reduced price breakfast is $.30 and free for those who qualify under the National School Lunch Program. The cost of an elementary lunch is $1.50, Ecker Hill $1.75, Treasure Mountain $2.00, Park City High School $2.50 and adults $3.00.
At the secondary school level, (EHIS, TMIS and PCHS) charging is not allowed. Therefore, we recommend that you prepay for breakfast/lunch in advance. At the elementary level, a child may charge up to $6.00. It is also highly recommended that you prepay into your child's lunch account. If your child owes $6.00 or more, he/she will not be allowed to charge any additional breakfasts/lunches and will not be served.
We appreciate your support of the Child Nutrition Program. Throughout the year there will be changes, as we continually strive to enhance the program. If you would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact the Child Nutrition Department at 435-615-0204.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Britton
